Horses elevate us.
Many people are inherently and deeply drawn to horses. They take our breath away with their physical beauty and strength while intriguing us with their deep emotional and cognitive intelligence. Most important, they call on our higher nature to care about and for them.
As the founder of Mountain Pony Press, I’m one of these horse people. I report and reflect primarily on the lives and experiences of horses in Colorado and the greater Rocky Mountain region, but I’m not limited by geographical boundaries. No matter where they live, “ponies” of all types and temperaments are the heroes of Mountain Pony Press.
